Shelfari.com is great! You will have a virtaul shelf on which to place and display your books, you can rate and review you your books, see the ratings and reviews of others and view their shelves and join groups to discuss books. Good luck and happy reading! :)Do you know of any good online book clubs?

I've been on the www.DearReader.com book club for years- you can choose any or all of 11 types of books (such as BUSINESS, FICTION, MYSTERY, SCIENCE FICTION, NON FICTION). You can sign up through a local library (if one is participating) or directly through Suzanne Beecher's web page. Below, I've copied the info from Suzanne, who also writes a short column with each day's offering. Many readers say even when we aren't interested in the book of the week, we still read her column. On the web page is also a link to the forum, to discuss the books, and to her blog %26amp; other related sites.

Enjoy!

"Sign up for a free book club and every day I鈥檒l email you a 5-minute portion of a book. I鈥檒l send a different book each week and you can sample two to three chapters.

Before long you鈥檒l be hooked on a book and you just might win a bubble machine, a signed copy of a book, or some of my homemade chocolate chip cookies too鈥擨 love to bake for readers.

Thanks for reading with me. It鈥檚 so good to read with friends.
