How to join a book club?

I want to join a book club, but don't know how. Please help me and give some advice.

Many book stores and libraries have book clubs that meet there, or may have postings about clubs elsewhere in the community.

Once you have some contact information, you can ask about what kind of books they tend to specialize in, and go to a few meetings to see if you like it. Most of the time, they are pretty informal, so you will not feel obligated to come back if you don't want to. Here are a few things that have helped me find local book clubs:



1) Search Cragislist (works only if you live in a major metro area that has its own site)

2) Search the Yahoo Groups website or Meetup.com

3) Ask about it at your local library or book store

I'd just start one! that way you get to choose the books and paln around your scheldule just ask a bunch of your friends to read the book and come to your house to discuss it.

(if your worried about convinceing them to come then just tell them there will be just a short discussion at the beginning and then a party)
