I really like the book Lolita. There are lots of issues raised in this book. Its interesting and I didn't want to put it down.
Love in the Time of Cholera or Infinity in the Palm of Her Hand would both be good. They both give you a lot to think about and discuss. Both are also really easy to get into and have an interesting plot.
