If you were to start a book club how do you get the books?Does the starter of the club buy them, does the school or the kids who joined? How many books should you read a month and how should you decide what books to read?In a book club in middle school who buys the books?
Each member of a book club provides his/her own books. Unless a donor is gracious enough to provide funding for the club, and thus buy the books, or help buy the books, for the members.
How many books you read each month depends on how thoroughly you want to examine each book and how quickly you want to progress.
If you want to meet weekly, then reading a few chapters each week seems good. Then you might get through 1 book/month or so.
If you meet biweekly, then going through an entire book is not unreasonable.
Same for monthly.
You should ask teachers for advice on which books to read, depending on what you want to focus on. Ask your history, government, science, and of course English teachers which books they would recommend based on what subject you want to emphasize.
I suggest also contacting the local library in advance of selecting a book to see if they can request extra copies brought in from nearby libraries in time for your group's reading of that book. That way more students can borrow the books instead of buying them
You may have luck with a book drive, collecting unwanted/unused books and hosting a sale, or selling them to a second hand store, to help anyone who needs it with buying a book that they cannot borrow. In a book club in middle school who buys the books?
Hello! Well, every member of the Book Club collaborates with money to buy the books, and if you get more new members then they can also collaborate with money and buy more. You can ask for books to school, too. You should read at least 3 books per month. You can decide what to read by voting, for example, if you ask, "who wants to read scary books?" or "who wants to read historical fiction books?" just go by what the people and U want.
Hope i helped. :)In a book club in middle school who buys the books?
In any book club either you go get it from the library or you go and buy it yourself.
what I would do is have everyone who wnats to participate group up and put in names of books they like or want to read, then pick from the hat. As long as no one wants you to read twilight everything should go well.
