I bought this book from a used book store and it doesnt say book club edition but there isnt a price on the dust jacket and I cant find the number line.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! How can you tell if a book is a book club edition?
Most Book Club Editions state that they are book club editions on the copyright page, but some do not. Most Trade Editions will state which printing it is (First Printing, Second Printing, etc.). If you can't find the number line, or the price on the dusct jacket, that's usually a good indication that it is a BCE. Also, BCEs are often smaller than Trade Editions.
I would very carefully look over the copyright page, even the fine print, and look for a number line or the words "Book Club Edition." If that doesn't help, google the book's ISBN number and you should find something out.How can you tell if a book is a book club edition?
Usually it will say book club edition on the page where the copyright information is printed.
