Suggestions for a 15-17 yr old book club selection?

I'm looking for a book around 200 pages to be used at a book club meeting for teenagers. It should appeal to both male and female readers, and be available in soft back. Any suggestions?Suggestions for a 15-17 yr old book club selection?
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

Great book the really goes with what teenagers go through at school. Anderson has the most amazing writing. Its one of my favorite books
There are a lot of books out their written in "diary" form that may tie to certain experiences the people in your group may be going through as well. also books liek chicken soup for the teenage soul have poems stories and such that pertain to certain age groups. good luck. :]Suggestions for a 15-17 yr old book club selection?
I love Meg Cabot books, but they may not appeal to males.
"The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis.

"West with the Night," Beryl Markham; Hemingway's favorite non-fiction book.

"The Overachievers," Alexandra Robbins; recent Yale graduate, young-looking, goes undercover for a second senior year at high school.

"Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, Ph.D. Profound, witty.

"The True Story of the Bilderberg Group," Daniel Estulin.

"The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, http://www.divinecosmos.comSuggestions for a 15-17 yr old book club selection?
The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, but currently only Twilight is in paperback. Also, The Wish List by Eoin Colfer is a very good book.
TWILIGHT!!!!

(my guy friend read it..and he said he will turn gay for edward..so im guessing guys like it too....and it might be more than 200 pages..but it doesn't matter..it still a good book!!!)
Bleachers by John Grisham

One of my all-time favorites
classics...

i also liked jodi picoult books but they lean to the girls side a bit
I would say any book in the Twilight Series.

Also, Catcher in the Rye. THAT was a good read.
Moving Pictures by Terry Pratchett

Soul Music by Terry Pratchett

Both books are great reads. I think both are closer to 300 pages, but they should appeal to teens. Moving Pictures is a satire on Hollywood and the movie industry, and Soul Music is a satire on rock 'n' roll and the music industry.
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

great series I love it!!!
I would recommend the Twilight books as well, but honestly, I really don't know how males would respond.

You can't go wrong with the Harry Potter books; they're pretty gender neutral.
The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld is really good. Its a little longer than 200, but still good.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini; one of the best books I've read this year, and I'm 14 so I guess it would appeal to you guys :)

All Quiet on the Western Front; a war novel, appealed to both me and my guy friends

Water for Elephants; also one of the best books I've read this year.

I'm not so sure about the Twilight series, even though I do obsess over them, I think boys would roll their eyes and gag with some parts.

:)
THE TWILIGHT SERIES!!
My Brother Sam Is Dead. It's a good book, we read in our book club; it's nice and appeals to both genders.

I would also recommend Girl in Blue. It's from a girl's point of view, but it's not actually a girly type of book. At all. It was also in our book club.
a great and terrible beauty by libba bray. AMAZING!!! the 2nd is rebel angels. 3rd is the sweet far thing.

Amazing book to discuss and perfect for that age

:)
