My daughter receives each month a package from Pony book club (books, toys, games etc.) My son is DESPERATE to get something with the same idea. He would like trucks but pretty much anything would work as long as it's geared towards boys. I looked on www.amazingclubs.com but that's all adult stuff. Any other ideas? Are there any clubs for boys that they can receive different packages each month?
Why not sign him up with a Scholastic Book Club? My two boys used to belong to the Magic Tree House club which came with books and activities which were rather challenging and encouraged reading %26amp; creative thinking. (I had a son that struggled with reading which is why I went this route). This clubs can be found on the back of the Scholastic order forms that come home from school every month.
Something else that he might enjoy is a subscription to National Geographic Kids ~ it's a wonderful magazine, and is often filled with ideas for projects they can do around the house. Are there any clubs for boys that they can receive different packages each month?
Kids are usually spoiled with TOO MUCH THINGS!
Maybe mail is what he really wants.
Is he old enough to have a pen pal?
Why not support a poor child overseas and have him write to them?
He would get SATISFACTION (which you really "CAN take with you" to the next life) rather than mere things that you "can't take with you!
SATISFACTION is real wealth! Not mere things. Are there any clubs for boys that they can receive different packages each month?
while I agree with Michale P somewhat,
I am not as radical as he.
try Disney or Nickelodeon sites
but also teach them when you are blessed with
corn you should give your corn.
ie new toys are fun for you but now you should give your old toys to kids that do not have that toy..or even any toys.
Get him a subscription to a magazine. There's magazines about video games, science fiction, sports all kinds of stuff.
