How do you start a community book club for highschoolers?

I am not a high school student, but I'd like to start up a book club for them to broaden teen's knowledge in English lit. Any ideas on how to get something like this started? How do you start a community book club for highschoolers?
The best place to start is your public library. My public library is always open to new suggestions from the public because it usually means bringing more people into the library. Talk to the librarian about starting a new book club. S/he--if open to the idea--will take care of the advertising and the sign-up sheets. You'll take care of picking the first book to be read and discussed.

If you belong to a church, there's another avenue for you. Using the youth minister for assistance, you could easily set up a book club.

Of course, you could go it alone. Put an ad in the newspaper and flyers where kids hang out. Then select the first book or have the group vote on the first book.

Good luck to you! I think it's a winning idea. :o)How do you start a community book club for highschoolers?
You're very welcome! I really hope you go through with it and that it's a huge success!
