How do I start a book club?

I'd like to start a book club but none of my friends like reading too much. I do have a couple, but they don't like each other, so it wouldn't work out.

Miss Know It All has a good suggestion. If you are in school, putting up poster or asking if you could make a club would be a great way to get people interested. You could also ask to put up posters in a local grocery store, or someplace that a lot of people will see it (maybe a Borders or some type of bookstore near by where you live). On the poster you should include a little about what you want to do with the club, like the type of books you want to read, an age range (if any), and if you know before hand you could put up a schedule along with it.How do I start a book club?
