Any book clubs or activities someone can suggest for a mom who just lost her job? I am now with my son 24/7?

Join or start a mother's group in your neighbourhood. Also known as playgroups, the moms %26amp; kids generally meet at one mom's house %26amp; rotate each week. Snacks are a combined effort. The kids get to play while the moms look after them %26amp; chat.

Some churches %26amp; other religious institutions have something known as "Mom's Day Out". Several moms watch every participant's children 1 day/month, then the moms rotate. Each mom ends up working 1 day/month with 3 days free.

One way to meet other moms is to visit the library to find out about their latest offerings. Many of them have story times, crafts and other free activities. Some museums have family days, where admission/crafts are available for low or no cost. Enjoy these special times with your child.Any book clubs or activities someone can suggest for a mom who just lost her job? I am now with my son 24/7?
Enjoy this time with your son...it may not last as long as you think.Any book clubs or activities someone can suggest for a mom who just lost her job? I am now with my son 24/7?
Not sure if you are the sole breadwinner but if not then volunteer with the Red Cross. it could keep you busy and active and they may allow you to bring your son. You could take up walking, mom and baby swimming classes. Voltunteering at a daycare, library or attenting play dates.Any book clubs or activities someone can suggest for a mom who just lost her job? you need to spend time with him and don't try to keep him busy at all times....I think school is enough to keep him busy, especially since you've been working all this time, now you should be w/ him
Take this time to spend much needed quality time w/ your son. They grow up faster than you think. You'll blink and he'll be graduating college and you'll wonder where the time went and regret not spending more time w/ him. Don't give yourself reason to regret, do what's right. Your son needs you!
