I want to join an online book club for the summer so I will have some books to read, but I don't really want to discuss books. Does anyone know if Wal-mart has a book club? And is anyone else in an online book club that they are satisfied with and would like to recommend to me? Preferably one that does not cost a lot.Online book clubs where you don't have to discuss books???
Brotherhood 2.0 (now called Nerdfighters) just started a "Blurbing Book Club." The idea is that you read a book every 2 weeks and write a "blurb" about it, meaning a statement describing the book in 10 words or less. But by no means are you required to do this! You can just read the books for fun. You may have to watch the videos to find out what the books are, but I think they are also listed on the left side of the page. So far they've read 13 Little Blue Envelopes, and the next book is Slaughterhouse 5.
